Abstract

This study explores innovative strategies for integrating chemical safety into high school chemistry curricula. By evaluating existing approaches and introducing novel pedagogical methods, we aim to enhance student understanding and awareness of chemical hazards. The research is based on a mixed-method approach, combining surveys with in-depth interviews among chemistry educators across various regions. Our findings suggest that incorporating hands-on, experiential learning significantly improves student engagement and safety awareness during practical laboratory sessions.
