Abstract

This article explores the prevalence of microplastics in the Arctic marine environment and their impact on marine life. The study identifies significant sources of microplastic pollution, including ocean currents and local waste. By analyzing water samples and marine organisms, the research reveals the extent of microplastic ingestion by Arctic marine species. The findings highlight the necessity for international policies to address plastic pollution effectively.
