Abstract

Amidst escalating antimicrobial resistance, this study re-evaluates current nosocomial infection control strategies within hospital settings. Employing a cross-sectional analysis of patient data, coupled with microbial genomics, we identified critical gaps in existing antimicrobial stewardship programs. Our findings suggest a need for an integrative approach, prioritizing dynamic pathogen surveillance and personalized patient care, to enhance efficacy. These results underscore the urgency for policy reforms to curb infection proliferation in healthcare facilities.
