Abstract

This research addresses the mental health issues experienced by refugees residing in Germany. Using qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys with refugees from various origin countries, the study highlights prevalent mental health disorders and coping mechanisms. Results show that depression and anxiety are the most common issues, with limited access to mental health services exacerbating these problems. The paper suggests policy recommendations for improving mental health support targeted at refugee populations.
