Abstract

This study investigates the complex interplay between cultural identity and migration in the context of Ukrainian migrants. Through a mix of qualitative interviews and narrative analysis with recent migrants in Western Europe, the research examines how migration influences individual and collective identities. It explores the coping mechanisms used by Ukrainians to navigate cultural shifts and maintain their national identity abroad. The paper also discusses the impact of diaspora communities in preserving cultural heritage. The findings provide valuable insights into the sociocultural dynamics of migration, contributing to broader discussions on identity formation in a globalized world.
