Abstract

This article examines the barriers and opportunities for women in corporate leadership roles across different industries. Utilizing survey data and in-depth interviews from Fortune 500 companies, the paper analyses gender-specific challenges and the impact of leadership diversity on organizational performance. The study finds that gender-balanced leadership teams tend to outperform their peers in innovation and profitability. Recommendations are provided for fostering an inclusive culture that supports female leadership advancement.
