Abstract

This article examines the social dynamics of climate change adaptation in Pacific Island nations, focusing on community-based approaches to resilience. Through ethnographic research and participatory observations, the study analyzes how local communities are adapting to environmental changes, such as rising sea levels and extreme weather events. The research highlights the role of traditional knowledge and local governance structures in facilitating adaptive strategies. Conclusions drawn emphasize the importance of integrating community perspectives into national climate policies for effective adaptation.
