Abstract

This article examines the correlation between urbanization and social inequality, focusing on the socio-economic challenges faced by rapidly growing urban centers. It discusses how urbanization can lead to increased economic opportunities but also exacerbate disparities in wealth, access to services, and living conditions. The study uses data from various metropolitan areas to highlight the multifaceted nature of these challenges. It calls for policy interventions that address the root causes of inequality and promote inclusive urban development. By understanding the dynamics between urban growth and social inequality, stakeholders can better design strategies that foster equitable urban environments.
