Abstract

This article evaluates the effectiveness of heuristic optimization algorithms within lean manufacturing environments. We employ a framework that integrates stochastic modeling and simulation to analyze algorithmic performance across various scenarios. Our findings reveal significant improvements in operational efficiency and resource allocation when using advanced heuristic methods. Challenges in implementation and scalability are also addressed, providing a comprehensive understanding of heuristic applications in management science.
