Articles

Applied Economic Studies publishes original, peer-reviewed research that applies economic theory and empirical analysis to real-world problems. The journal welcomes both theoretical and applied works that contribute to understanding economic behavior, market dynamics, and policy implications at local and global levels.

Research Articles – Empirical and analytical papers presenting new findings in macroeconomics, microeconomics, econometrics, or applied policy studies. Articles should follow the IMRAD structure, include clear methodology, data interpretation, and discuss theoretical and practical implications.

Review Articles – Systematic or narrative reviews synthesizing developments in economic theory, applied econometrics, or public policy. Reviews should highlight key debates, identify research gaps, and propose directions for future study.

Policy and Applied Analyses – Papers examining public policy, taxation, regulation, trade, or market design. Submissions may include simulations, economic modeling, and quantitative impact assessments with clear practical conclusions.

Case Studies and Reports – Applied studies of firms, industries, or government programs that demonstrate the practical use of economic tools. Reports should focus on empirical evidence, methodological rigor, and replicable insights.
