Abstract

This research explores the economic impact of tourism in the Mediterranean region. By analyzing trends from 2000 to 2020, the study assesses how tourism contributes to economic growth and development. Our findings indicate that tourism is a major economic driver, but also highlights challenges such as environmental degradation and cultural impacts. These insights are vital for policymakers seeking to balance growth with sustainability in the tourism sector.
