Abstract

This study examines the impact of microfinance on the economic empowerment of women in rural India. We analyze the effectiveness of microfinance institutions in providing financial services to women entrepreneurs, assessing their role in fostering economic independence and social change. Using field data from Indian villages, the research evaluates the socio-economic outcomes of microfinance initiatives. The paper concludes with policy recommendations to enhance the reach and effectiveness of microfinance services, aiming to support sustainable economic development in rural communities.
