Abstract

The study investigates the influence of e-government initiatives on fostering citizen participation and enhancing democratic engagement. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research evaluates the effectiveness of digital platforms in facilitating communication between governments and citizens. The findings reveal that e-government tools significantly contribute to increased transparency, accountability, and citizen empowerment. Challenges such as digital literacy and access disparities are also addressed, offering insights into potential solutions. The article provides policy recommendations for optimizing e-government practices to bolster civic involvement and democratic processes.
