Abstract

This article investigates the portrayal of gender roles in religious texts, analyzing how these roles are constructed and interpreted within various faith traditions. By examining key texts from Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism, the study highlights the diversity of gender representations and their implications for contemporary gender discourse. The findings reveal both restrictive and empowering aspects of religious teachings, offering insights into the ongoing dialogue between tradition and modernity.
