Abstract

This paper investigates the evolving landscape of religious practices in the digital age, focusing on the influence of social media. It examines how platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram are used by religious groups to engage followers, share teachings, and build communities. The study includes analysis based on surveys of online religious communities across different faiths. It explores both the positive aspects, such as increased accessibility and outreach, and the negative impacts, including the spread of misinformation and the trivialization of religious practices.
