Abstract

This article examines the evolution of labor laws in the context of the gig economy, with a focus on how these laws impact workers' rights and protections. Through case studies from the United States, India, and Germany, the article analyzes the effectiveness of existing legal frameworks in addressing the unique challenges posed by gig work. It discusses the future of labor policies and provides recommendations for adapting labor laws to better protect gig workers as the economy continues to shift.
