Linguistic Identity and Code-Switching Among Bilinguals

Abstract

This article investigates the phenomenon of code-switching among bilingual individuals, exploring its implications for linguistic identity and cultural expression. Through qualitative interviews and linguistic analysis, the study examines how bilinguals navigate multiple languages in various social contexts. The findings suggest that code-switching is a complex, dynamic process that reflects broader social identities and cultural affiliations. This research enhances our understanding of bilingual communication strategies and the role of language in identity formation.
