Abstract

This article examines the intricate relationship between language policy and sociolinguistic dynamics in multilingual societies. Focusing on case studies from Africa and Europe, the study analyzes how language policies influence social interactions and language hierarchy. The research highlights the challenges and opportunities of implementing language policies in diverse cultural settings. By providing a comparative perspective, the paper contributes to understanding the role of language in shaping social structures and individual identity within multilingual contexts.
