Abstract

This article investigates the relationship between syntax and semantics through a cross-linguistic analysis of word order variations. The study examines data from languages in Asia, Europe, and Africa to understand how word order affects meaning and information structure. By comparing syntactic patterns, the research reveals commonalities and differences in language processing across cultures. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the cognitive and communicative functions of word order in human language.
