Articles

Social & Developmental Psychology publishes original, peer-reviewed research exploring social behavior, emotional and cognitive development, and interpersonal dynamics across the human lifespan. The journal welcomes both empirical and theoretical contributions that advance understanding of how individuals think, feel, and act in social contexts and how psychological processes evolve from infancy to adulthood.

Research Articles – Original empirical studies addressing topics such as social cognition, emotional regulation, personality development, and interpersonal behavior. Articles should follow the IMRAD structure and provide detailed methodology, data analysis, and discussion of theoretical and practical implications.

Review Articles – Systematic or narrative reviews integrating key findings in developmental and social psychology. Reviews should identify theoretical advances, synthesize major debates, and propose future research directions within psychology and related fields.

Case Studies – Analytical or descriptive accounts of specific developmental, social, or therapeutic phenomena. Case studies should include contextual information, observed behavior, and interpretation grounded in psychological theory.

Theoretical Papers – Conceptual analyses and discussions that propose or refine psychological models related to social interaction, identity formation, or developmental mechanisms. These papers should demonstrate originality and a strong grounding in existing research.
