This study addresses the critical role of socio-emotional development within dynamic societal contexts, particularly amidst the backdrop of contemporary global challenges such as digitalization and social isolation. We utilize a recursive Bayesian framework to model longitudinal data on socio-emotional competencies across diverse demographic groups. The methodology integrates advanced statistical techniques, enabling precise estimations of developmental trajectories and their predictors. Our findings reveal significant variations in socio-emotional growth patterns related to socio-economic status and digital engagement, suggesting targeted interventions for enhancing developmental outcomes. Ultimately, this research not only contributes to theoretical advancements in developmental psychology but provides practical implications for policymakers and educators aiming to foster socio-emotional resilience in youth.
