The Psychological Impact of Climate Change Awareness

This article examines the psychological effects of awareness of climate change on individuals. Utilizing surveys and psychological assessments, the study evaluates levels of eco-anxiety, stress, and motivation to engage in pro-environmental behaviors. Findings demonstrate that increased awareness of climate change issues is correlated with heightened eco-anxiety but also with stronger motivations to participate in sustainable practices. The study suggests strategies for managing eco-anxiety while harnessing it to encourage environmental action.
