Abstract

In this paper, we analyze how cultural contexts affect the development of empathy in early childhood. By comparing children from diverse backgrounds, including Eastern and Western cultures, we identify key cultural factors that contribute to empathy. Our research uses longitudinal studies to track the evolution of empathetic behaviors and feelings from ages three to seven. The findings suggest that cultural narratives and community practices significantly influence empathy development, offering insights into global psychological differences.
