Abstract

This article investigates the impact of play on social development among children aged 8 to 12. Through observational studies and interviews, we analyze how different types of play contribute to social skills and peer relationships. The research highlights the crucial role of unstructured play in fostering cooperation, negotiation, and social problem-solving abilities. These findings aim to inform educational practices and policies that encourage play as a key element of social development.
