Abstract

This study explores the effects of digital socialization on the identity formation of adolescents in the modern age. Drawing from developmental psychology theories, we examine how social media platforms influence self-perception and peer relationships. Our research highlights the dual nature of digital interaction, where both positive and negative identity developments are observed. Through a mixed-methods approach involving surveys and interviews with teenagers, we uncover significant patterns that underscore the critical role of digital environments in shaping adolescent identities.
