This research explores emotional regulation strategies employed by individuals in high-stress occupations such as healthcare and emergency services. Conducted in Germany and the United States, the study uses both surveys and interviews to assess how professionals manage stress and maintain psychological well-being. Results reveal effective strategies including mindfulness, peer support, and cognitive reframing. These insights have implications for training programs aimed at improving mental health resilience among high-stress professionals. Further research is encouraged to examine these strategies across different occupational contexts.
