Abstract

This research explores the relationship between different parenting styles and the development of emotional intelligence in children. By examining authoritative, authoritarian, and permissive parenting approaches, we assess their influence on children's ability to understand and manage emotions. Results suggest that authoritative parenting, characterized by warmth and structure, is most effective in fostering high emotional intelligence. This study highlights the importance of parenting strategies that support emotional growth, offering guidance for parents and educators in nurturing emotionally intelligent children.
